Lurgan
General Information
Lurgan is a town near the southern shore of Lough Neagh in the Armagh County of Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. The town is filled with historic listed buildings providing many sights and historical information for visitors.
Once a major centre for the textile industry, Lurgan’s textile retail trade has declined in recent years due to the expansion of other towns like Craigavon. Lurgan's town centre has a wide main street dominated at one end by Shankill Church.
