Welcome to Moneydarragh Cottage in Annalong, Newry. Awarded 3* Rating by N.I. Tourist Board. 

Moneydarragh Cottage is the perfect base to explore the Mournes from. Centrally located between Kilkeel and Newcastle and a short 10 minute drive to Carrick Car Park and Silent Valley. A 5 minute drive will take you to a large supermarket and the local restaurants and take-aways. 

This is truly one of the most picturesque areas in Northern Ireland - with coastal walks and mountain trails and hikes on our doorstep we really are spoilt. There are walks to suit all levels of fitness and abilities.

Moneydarragh Cottag Accommodation

Moneydarragh Cottage sleeps up to five guests in two bedrooms. Travel cot and high chair available on request. 

All on ground level with fully equipped kitchen, utility room, two bedrooms and a bathroom with separate bath and large shower. This is a well equipped home with loads of extras.

There are beautiful uninterrupted views of mountains and sea from the cottage.

• Disabled friendly - raised toilet seat and shower chair available on request. Ramp at front for easy access and no steps inside. 
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at our restaurant The Galley, just 1 mile away.  

Activities Nearby

- You will really enjoy local award winning restaurants in the area which are open from breakfast to evening meals.

- A short drive will take you to many of the scenic walks in this area. The Mourne Mountains where you can take on some challenging mountain walks or a more leisurely stroll to some of the smaller mountains peaks. 

- Visit the Castlewellan Peace Maze (one of Ireland’s fastest growing tourist attractions).

- Annalong Cornmill opens for guided tours throughout the summer months and is well worth a visit.

- A trip on the scenic Carlingford Ferry is only a short 20 min drive away and is not to be missed. It takes you across the Lough to the quaint bustling town of Carlingford which is popular for all the choice of pubs and restaurants.

- It is also ideal for golfing enthusiasts with Royal Co Down only 15 mins drive away in Newcastle.
